ABOUT:

 

My name is Mrs. M and I am starting my 12th year as an Elementary School Counselor and my 8th year at Napoleon Elementary School!! I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology/Criminology from Ohio University in 2004, my Masters in Education from Bowling Green State University in School Counseling in 2014, and my Ed. Specialist Degree in Leadership & Administration in 2018.

I am a certified ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences) facilitator and will be starting 5th & 6th grade groups for the up and coming school year!! Other small group curriculums I utilize are Building Champions and Girl Code both address current issues and concerns facing young students today. 

We will have GIRLS ON THE RUN this school year for girls in grades 3rd-5th! We will start this in the Spring of 2026!

 

Classroom Lessons include Second Step, Yoga 4 Classrooms, Zones of Regulation, Mindfulness, as well as, topics associated with Red Ribbon Week, Kindness Week, Academic Success, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), & Career Exploration.
